About Jeff

I am an experienced educator with over six years in education, including three years as a classroom teacher and three years as a substitute teacher across multiple grade levels. Teaching is my fifth career, following work in technology, media, and design, which gives me a broad perspective on problem-solving, communication, and real-world application of academic skills. I currently specialize in tutoring students in grades 3–8 in math, reading, writing, science, and social studies. I focus on helping students build strong foundations, think critically, and gain confidence in their abilities. My approach is structured, patient, and adaptable, allowing me to meet students where they are while steadily moving them forward. I place a strong emphasis on professionalism, clear communication, and consistency. My approach to tutoring is student-centered, thoughtful, and focused on understanding rather than shortcuts. Teaching Methods
