About Shriya
Hi! My name is Shriya, and I have been dancing for over 16 years. I have trained in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, ballet, modern, character, and pointe, and I have been a competitive dancer for most of my life. In addition to competing, I have served as a dance team captain and have experience helping younger dancers improve their technique, performance quality, and confidence. I am currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Dance major. I am passionate about helping dancers reach their goals in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your fundamentals, clean choreography, prepare for auditions, or build confidence on stage, I will provide personalized instruction tailored to your needs. My goal is to help every dancer grow while making lessons both productive and enjoyable.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, whether they need help with technique, choreography, routine cleaning, flexibility, turns, leaps, or audition preparation. A typical lesson includes a warm-up, technique exercises, focused work on choreography or skills, and personalized feedback for continued improvement. My lessons are designed for beginner to intermediate dancers, competitive dancers, and anyone looking to strengthen their technique, performance quality, or confidence in dance.
