My love of Spanish started in high school, it inspired me to take a gap year before college in a rural town in Costa Rica. Since then I have graduated from the College of Charleston with a BA in Spanish and International Studies and a minor in Linguistics.
Though I tutored many friends outside of class, I started my professional career as a tutor in 2014, working for the College of Charleston's Center for Student Learning, where I earned my CRLA level 1 tutoring certificate. I have enjoyed working as both a private tutor and for the College because I love seeing my students finally "get it" after many have struggled for so long.
