About Tracy
I have 10 years of Chinese teaching experience, with my students from 7 to 70 years old. My Bachelor's and Master’s degrees both major in Chinese Language and Literature. I am a Mandarin native speaker, I came from Beijing, China. Currently, I have been living in Canada. I have a Chinese teaching private studio in the Toronto area. As a professional teacher, I can speak Standard Chinese without any accent. I also have a Level-A certificate in Mandarin from the state, that is the highest level. Apart from teaching, I have many other kinds of work experience, such as being a human resources manager for a real estate development company. Program Planner and organizer of events in a non-profit organization, I even did customer service for an international ocean shipping line in Canada. So, it means that you will never be bored in my class, we can talk about many things, and you will learn the most authentic Chinese expressions from different fields. As for hobbies, I like fishing, reading, traveling, gardening, and cooking, these things fill my spare time.

I would recommend the textbooks include HSK 1~6; YCT Standard Course; Standard Chinese Conversational 360 Sentences; My Chinese Classroom; and Hong En Literacy, you surely can choose other specific materials to learn as well. In the classes, I prefer flexible and diverse teaching methods to guide students to practice and talk a lot, rather than tedious theoretical lectures or boring simple repeated follow-up reading. For the children, I will try my best to create situational teaching and patiently guide their interest in learning Chinese; For the adults, will according to the learning stage of the students, will introduce Chinese cultural exploring and conversation in modern daily life. I would build up your confidence from the beginning and focus on your goals, letting students get Chinese skills in the shortest time.
