About Moon

**I'm currently visiting Korea, I'm taking a short break from in-person classes. Online classes are still available before 4 pm UK time. I'll be back in London on 15th July!**

Hello! My name is Moon, I'm a Korean actor based in London.
I have over three years of experience teaching Korean and am currently teaching children&adult in London through in-person&online lessons.
*I don't do online classes for children under age 10 unless a parent joins the lesson.

Background
-7 years of acting experience in Korea
-BA (4 years) in Theatre Acting — Kyungsung University, Korea
-MFA (2 years) in International Acting — East 15, UK
-Fluent in English

Learning English has been a long and meaningful journey for me. As I’ve gone through the challenges of learning a new language myself, I understand what students struggle with and how to overcome it. Now I’d love to help others learn Korean in a clear, practical, and enjoyable way while also sharing Korean culture.

About the lesson

I teach students of all ages, from young children (Age3+) to senior adults. I make my own class materials and tailor every lesson to your interests, goals, and needs.

If you're a K-Drama or K-Pop fan -
We'll pick a scene or song you love and learn 5–10 useful expressions from it. Then we'll practise using them in real conversations, so you can actually speak Korean, not just memorise words and grammar.

If you want to improve your conversational skills ️-
We'll work through scripts based on natural, everyday situations and topics. You'll learn useful grammar, common expressions, and the culture behind them, then practise using them in the right context.

For Children
Ages 3–7
- Learn through flashcards, games, and singing along to their favourite K-pop songs.
- Fun lessons that keep children engaged and excited about learning Korean.
Ages 7–13
- Learn Hangul (the Korean alphabet).
- Build simple sentences and vocabulary using songs and topics they enjoy.
*I don't do online classes for children under age 10 unless a parent joins the lesson.

In-person: £40/hour, Online: £30/hour
The rate is the same regardless of age.
