About Elin
Over the past 9 years, I’ve taught chess to students across different age groups and skill levels, from curious learners to competitive players. My journey began as a passionate student of the game, fascinated by how logic, patience, and imagination converge in every move. As a coach, I emphasize learning through discovery — encouraging students to analyze positions, reflect on mistakes, and find creative solutions independently. I believe chess builds not only stronger players but sharper thinkers and calmer minds. When not teaching, I participate in local tournaments and study classic games to stay connected with evolving strategies. For me, chess is a lifelong practice in focus, humility, and mental clarity — lessons I aim to pass on to every student.

My chess lessons are designed to help students think critically, plan ahead, and develop calm problem-solving under pressure. Beginners start by mastering openings, piece coordination, and simple checkmates, while intermediate players focus on positional play and endgame structure. I emphasize learning why moves work, not just memorizing patterns, ensuring that students develop independent analytical thinking.
For tournament players, I include psychological preparation and time-control strategies, helping them stay composed during high-stakes situations. My method builds both intellectual resilience and confidence, turning the chessboard into a reflection of disciplined decision-making.
