About Zhora
I am a professional chess player who has been passionate about the game since the age of five. Throughout my chess career, I have earned the title of Armenian Under-16 Chess Champion and represented my country in numerous European and World Chess Championships. These experiences have not only strengthened my competitive skills but also shaped my understanding of chess as more than just a game, it is a sport, a profession, and a powerful way for great minds to challenge one another through strategy, creativity, and critical thinking.

My lessons cover everything from the fundamentals of chess to advanced strategies, helping students build confidence, improve calculation, and develop strong decision-making skills. For children, chess is also a fantastic way to strengthen concentration, memory, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
I truly love teaching, and my main goal is to make every lesson not only educational but also engaging and enjoyable. I understand that children can lose interest quickly, so I combine structured chess instruction with interactive exercises, fun challenges, and creative chess games to keep them motivated.
I’m a fast responder and always happy to answer chess questions between lessons, so you’re never limited to learning only during our scheduled sessions.
