About Maryam

I am a dedicated and experienced Chemistry, Biology, and Science educator with over 5 years of teaching experience. I hold an MPhil in Biochemistry from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and have extensive experience teaching students through both online and academic settings.

I have worked with students following GCSE, IGCSE, AS & A Levels, AP Chemistry, IB Chemistry, MCAT, Biochemistry, and general Science curricula. My approach is professional, structured, and student-centered, with a strong emphasis on developing conceptual understanding and academic confidence.

I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students can ask questions freely, overcome challenging concepts, and make consistent progress. I tailor my lessons according to each student's individual level, learning objectives, and examination requirements.

About the lesson

I believe Chemistry becomes much easier when concepts are explained in a simple and logical way. My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and focused on building strong concepts rather than memorizing information.

In my lessons, I first understand the student's current level, learning needs, and goals. I then explain difficult topics step by step using simple explanations, real-life examples, diagrams, practice questions, and exam-style problems. I regularly check understanding and encourage students to ask questions. For exam preparation, I also focus on past papers, important concepts, problem-solving techniques, and effective exam strategies.

My typical lesson is 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student's needs and level.

I have over 5 years of teaching experience in Chemistry, Biology, and Science. I hold an MPhil in Biochemistry from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and have experience teaching students online as well as in academic settings. I have taught GCSE, IGCSE, AS/A Levels, AP Chemistry, IB Chemistry, MCAT, Biochemistry, and general Science.

My lessons are suitable for school and college students, beginners, and students preparing for examinations.
