About Nordhal

With a diploma in hospitality from France and a strong foundation in classical French cuisine, I began my culinary journey immersed in some of the country’s most respected kitchens. Over the years, I have refined my skills across a variety of restaurants, mastering a wide range of techniques and learning to adapt to diverse culinary environments.

Eager to broaden my horizons, I chose to travel and explore new culinary traditions — an experience that greatly enriched my approach to cooking. This international perspective continues to shape the way I work, blending authenticity with creativity.

For the past three years, I have been working at Maison Boulud, a prestigious fine-dining restaurant in Montréal. After progressing through various kitchen roles, I was recently promoted to Sous-Chef in 2025. In this position, I contribute to high-level menu development, lead part of the kitchen team, and help execute refined, seasonal cuisine with precision and creativity.

In parallel, I also offer private chef services, which allow me to connect with clients on a more personal level and share my passion in intimate, tailored culinary experiences.

Today, I want to take the next step by offering cooking lessons through Superprof. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your skills, I would be thrilled to guide you. My goal is to make every class enjoyable, approachable, and inspiring — helping you gain confidence in the kitchen while discovering the joy of cooking.

Nordhal was able to present a substantial amount of knowledge in such a short period of time. He has incredible knowledge on all areas of cooking (and gastronomy in general).
