About Rodney
I have a BA (Humanities) in modern history and literature, a (Tesol) cert 1V and lived in Vietnam for 8 years teaching English to Vietnamese/french students. I am also experienced teaching Vietnamese Australians and international students in Brisbane. I have taught the Cambridge system, Toefl, General English, Primary English (at an International French School) using the French system (European Common Frame of Reference of Language English) and I have tutored many students of all ages and levels for many years.

I am student focused. I try to use different mediums and strategies to assist with student learning. I use movement, activities, sound, music, visual cues in my teaching regiment together with group and pair work, classroom discussions, practical exercises beginning with the student's common and everyday experiences to build new information and knowledge. I do this in a fun and interesting way. My previous students have had great success in scoring well in their exams using my strategies.

Details
Lessons and packages to be paid upfront. If the student/guardian agrees to pay the lesson package amount and then cancels soon after then the amount refunded will be half of the amount left in the package for example, the amount for 5 lessons is $150 and then after 2 lessons the student/guardian decides to cancel for any reason then they will be paid half of the remaining 3 lessons which will be $45 (3x30 Aud equals 90/2 - $45 aud.
