About Lyra
I have 5 years of experience teaching Excel, supported by a Bachelor’s in Computer Applications and a Master’s in Business Analytics. My interest in data and tools led me to specialise in Excel training. Over time, I have helped many students build strong skills.
My teaching style is simple, practical, and clear. I focus on helping students apply what they learn through exercises and examples. I provide guidance and feedback to support improvement. I also focus on building confidence so students can use Excel independently.
Outside of teaching, I work on data-related tasks and continue learning new tools. This helps me bring updated knowledge into my lessons. Teaching Excel is meaningful to me because I help students gain useful skills for real life. Seeing their progress and confidence is very rewarding.

My Excel lessons are designed to help students learn in a simple and practical way. I start with basic features like entering data, formatting cells, and using simple formulae so learners feel comfortable. I explain each step clearly and give hands-on practice during lessons. This helps students understand how Excel works and build confidence from the beginning. Each session is calm and easy to follow.
As students improve, I introduce more advanced tools like formulae, charts, pivot tables, and data organisation methods. We work on real-life examples to understand how Excel is used in work and daily tasks. I also teach useful shortcuts and techniques to improve speed and accuracy. Lessons are always adjusted based on the student’s level so they can progress steadily.
My goal is to help students become confident in using Excel for practical tasks. I support them in building skills that are useful for studies and work. Over time, students become more efficient and accurate. I create a positive environment where they feel encouraged to practice, explore features, and grow with confidence.
