About Sierra
My interest in Excel developed through working with data organisation and business reporting systems during my education. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and have spent the last 6 years helping students strengthen spreadsheet confidence through supportive teaching and practical training methods.
I enjoy adapting lessons according to confidence level, technical goals, and learning style. Some students improve through guided exercises and repetition, while others respond better to visual demonstration and project-based learning. My teaching style combines patience, encouragement, and balanced technical development.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring productivity software, studying data management systems, and learning advanced spreadsheet techniques. Staying connected to technology helps me introduce practical examples into lessons. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I enjoy helping students improve organisation and workplace efficiency.

My Excel lessons focus on helping students organise, calculate, and analyse data through structured spreadsheet training. I teach formulae, functions, charts, data formatting, tables, filtering, pivot tables, and reporting methods through practical exercises that make learning simple and useful. Lessons are supportive, engaging, and designed for steady technical growth.
Beginners improve through guided spreadsheet exercises, basic formulae, and formatting activities that gradually strengthen confidence in using Excel tools. Intermediate learners work on data analysis, charts, and function application through structured practice and reporting tasks. Advanced students focus on advanced formulae, automation concepts, and professional spreadsheet management through detailed exercises and real-world examples.
I encourage students to practise regularly instead of depending only on memorisation. Lessons support accuracy, confidence, and practical technical understanding while helping learners improve naturally. My goal is to help students become efficient, organised, and confident Excel users.
