Dear Students, As an experienced and certified tutor, my top priorities are your education and success. I hold a BS in Mathematics from State University and an MS in Education from Central College. I am fully licensed to teach mathematics and any fundamental course in biology, chemistry, and physics for grades 7-12 as well as the Freshman and Sophomore years in college. Over the past 10 years, I have helped hundreds of students improve their academic performance and confidence in math and science. A typical 60-minute session starts by assessing your level and learning goals. Next, we dive into the topic with a short video or animation to build foundational knowledge. Then we tackle example problems together, using models to visualize abstract ideas. I guide you to develop critical thinking skills and draw connections between concepts. Sessions end by summarizing key takeaways and setting goals for next time.
