About Nelie
I have spent over 5 years teaching flute with dedication and enthusiasm. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to improve their musical abilities through structured and enjoyable lessons.
My classes focus on communication, creativity, motivation, and patience. I believe learning should be simple and engaging, so I explain every concept clearly and support students with practical demonstrations. Each lesson is designed around the student's goals and learning speed.
Besides flute, I teach music theory, ear training, rhythm development, breath control, beginner keyboard, sight reading, music appreciation, and performance preparation. These subjects provide students with a complete musical education.
I specialize in improving tone quality, breathing techniques, finger movement, timing, and expressive performance. I encourage students to practice consistently and provide helpful feedback that builds confidence and steady progress.
Teaching music allows me to inspire creativity, discipline, and self-confidence. I enjoy helping students achieve their goals, whether they are preparing for exams, performances, or simply learning music for personal enjoyment. Every lesson is designed to make learning rewarding and memorable.

I believe that flute lessons should inspire students to learn with confidence while developing strong musical skills. My teaching methodology follows Communication, Accountability, and Integrity, creating a friendly and motivating learning environment for students of all levels.
Lessons begin with breathing exercises, posture correction, embouchure development, finger placement, and tone production. As students gain confidence, they continue with scales, rhythm training, notation reading, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, and performance techniques. Every lesson includes practical activities that encourage steady improvement.
Communication helps me understand each student's learning needs while providing simple and effective explanations. Accountability encourages regular practice, personal responsibility, and measurable progress. Integrity helps me teach with honesty, patience, fairness, and professionalism while encouraging students to do their best.
Besides flute, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, Staff Notation, Rhythm Studies, Breath Control, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, Performance Preparation, and Effective Practice Methods. These complementary subjects strengthen overall musicianship.
My goal is to help students build confidence, enjoy learning, and become skilled flute players with a lasting passion for music.
