About Kacie

I absolutely LOVE writing and translating my passion onto my students! I've had students feel very weak and insecure about their writing go from D's to A's within weeks and develop a strong love and desire to write! A big part of my success is my encouragement-based methods and strong skill-infusion. A very large part of what I do is prepare my high schoolers for college, and my college students for grad school (in addition to boosting ongoing grades and abilities!!). I have a 4.0 at Penn State and I'm in two honors societies. I've also spent time as a tutoring supervisor, training other tutors in my successful methodology and pedagogy. I'm currently in an integrated master's program to become an English and Writing Professor as well as a published author. I love to help my students research, brainstorm, outline, and grow and develop in their skills and abilities. I've also had students I worked with on a weekly basis to help prepare them for advanced collegiate scholarship. I've also helped students with ACT and SAT test prep and college applications to schools like Stanford, UChicago, Harvard, University of Michigan, and more. If you are in high school or have a child in high school, my experience in helping college students write hundreds, if not thousands of essays is incredibly efficacious in your child's (or your) advanced collegiate preparation. I've helped analyze countless professor rubrics and have a very strong understanding of what professors look for and what students need to succeed. I can help your student apply to colleges, write amazing essays from the brainstorming process to the final proofreading stages, bringing forth the music that is already inside of them. I love to see my students succeed and I never stop encouraging them to shoot for the stars!!

About the lesson

Do you want to write better and score high grades on all your writing assignments? I'm very skilled at helping students grow and develop through a pedagogy driven by encouragement, skill and hands-on assistance. I write collaboratively with my students in live virtual sessions. We can work on anything from a masters paper to a college entrance essay. I can help you with research writing, high school and college essays (as well as younger students) to grow and develop with strong written communication skills and advanced academic writing capabilities. My lessons are designed for students in grade 7 through graduate school.
