I am an experienced ESL teacher - I have taught over 20 years, on 3 continents.
I love classroom teaching but over the years I also have successfully tutored students, I prepared them for various tests: TOEFL, IELTS and end of the semester exams.

I have been practicing the Direct Method where the students' first language is used as little as possible or not at all.
I put emphasis on correct pronunciation but accents are accepted, as long as they don't hinder understanding.
Also, I encourage my students to practice English by using authentic materials from songs and movies.
