About Lizzie
I am a University student studying Environmental Science, having secured high grades in GCSEs and A-Levels. Having tutored children for 3 years, I find it rewarding to see them grow in skill and confidence. My plethora of resources have been tried & tested to ensure the greatest understanding of tricky concepts as well as establishing strong exam technique for all question types - which is often half the battle.

I'm a friendly tutor who caters my approach to the individual - whether teaching the whole syllabus or focusing on their weaker areas. I generally tutor children from 14-18 (GCSE/A-Level age), my teaching style is conversational using different resources to suit their learning style - notes, flashcards, videos etc. I encourage my students to stop and ask questions, and to be honest if they don't understand. My lessons are typically 1 hour long - I find this is best for concentration & motivation. I set short homeworks (if suitable), usually practice questions on a topic we've covered in the lesson to consolidate their understanding. Please don't hesitate to message me with any questions :)
