About Phoebe
I have recently graduated with a Masters in Environmental science and I strive to provide top-quality tutoring services. I have previous experience as a nanny where I have tutored students between the ages of 5 - 13 years (reading, writing, environmental studies, English, French and maths). My years of studying and nannying experience have provided me with excellent communication and time management skills as well as a positive, can-do attitude.

My teaching methodology is based on good organisation, planning and flexibility to meet the needs of each student.
I can meet a range of needs from early-learning (reading, writing and numbers), school-level support (English, Maths and Geography), as well as Bachelor degree support with essay writing skills and advice in a range of topics (within Environmental studies).
Lesson structure:
At the start of each lesson, I start with a set of learning outcomes that will be achieved throughout the lesson. I conduct my lessons in four parts: 1) Learning objectives/reflection on homework, 2) Starter activity, 3) Main lesson activity and 4) Lesson reflection and setting homework.
I am a friendly and open-minded person with a can-do attitude, providing quality and engaging lesson material. I ensure that my students are comfortable with the material provided and maintain their focus throughout the duration of the lesson.
