About Amanda
I have covered a wide range of topics within psychology (social, biological, cognitive, research methods etc). I also completed a research internship outside of my studies (dissertation-style) with the topic of Covid-19 and mental health. I am also a volunteer at Victim Support where I provide psychological support and communicate with victims of crime.

I'm primarily seeking out to undergraduate and high school students in psychology, or anyone interested in this field. In my lessons I use a semi-structured approach, where I'd initually get to know you and your goals with tutoring. This could be anything from writing essays, research reports, critical reviews, APA, understanding scientific articles and topics within psychology, to name a few.
We would approach these step by step with potential "homeworks" outside of class if you wish. I'd ask you to bring up any concerns you may have, and if I cannot answer these, I have the contacts and resources to help you.
I am a warm and patient person who will listen to your goals and needs and adjust thereafter. I aim for my sessions to be laid-back so you feel comfortable opening up about any questions or concerns, whilst still being productive and meeting your goals.
