About Sheila Mae
Hello! I'm Teacher Sheila, a Licensed Social Worker and dedicated ESL teacher from the Philippines with a passion for helping students achieve their English learning goals.
I believe that learning English should be both enjoyable and practical. That's why I create a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence with every lesson.
My classes are personalized to fit your needs, whether you want to improve your conversational English, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, or prepare for work, school, interviews, or travel. Every lesson is structured, interactive, and focused on helping you make real progress at your own pace.

My Teaching Method and Techniques
I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable and confident. My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and goal-oriented. I use guided conversations, real-life examples, role-playing, pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, and constructive feedback to help students improve naturally. I also adapt each lesson to the student's learning style, pace, and objectives.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up conversation to build confidence and review previous lessons. Next, we focus on a specific topic, such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or conversational English. We then practice through interactive activities, discussions, or role-playing. At the end of the lesson, I provide feedback, highlight strengths, identify areas for improvement, and recommend simple exercises for continued practice.
