About
I have taught hundreds of secondary school age pupils over the decades. Since starting my family over ten years ago, I have tutored over thirty pupils, many for up to five years. All have improved their attainment and several have gained places at top universities.

I am an experienced and effective English tutor, with more than twenty years' experience in Secondary English education. I am able and willing to enable any pupil to improve their performance in my subject at whatever level. My lessons are planned meticulously and appropriately, ensuring an apt pace and plenty of time for revision and clarification. I am a senior examiner for a large examination board and have always been able to use this to inform ,my teaching.
I love my subject and look forward to helping pupils reach their potential.
