About Tonianne
I am an Adjunct Lecturer and writer with over thirteen years of tutoring experience who can help you or your child from elementary school through the high school entrance process to the college admissions process all the way to graduate school admissions.
I have been working with students since I was in high school, helping younger students with general skills and high school entrance examination preparation. I continued through high school and college, and have continued into the realms of college entrance exam preparation (ACT and SAT verbal), graduate school entrance exam preparation (GRE verbal and analysis, LSAT reading and essay, MCAT CARS), college essay help, general essay help, interview skills, AP tests, and general humanities help.
I have helped students get into colleges such as Princeton, Columbia, Georgetown, Cornell, NYU, Fairfield, George Washington University, University of Maryland College Park, University of Michigan, Michigan State, and Loyola Maryland.

Students are often treated like drones, expected to all learn the same way. Unfortunately, students are not all the same.
I treat my students as they should be treated: distinct individuals complete with their own ways of learning. No child is alike, so it follows suit that no learning style is alike. I make sure to pay attention to their needs and quirks and tailor my tutoring to fit them.
Each student has a great deal of potential in them; a tutor just needs to find a way to unlock that potential.
