About Laila
One to one tuition is the key to changing futures and changing lives. I am passionate about English, and have a passion for helping students reach their potential. I have been a teacher for 4 years, and have taught several GCSE classes; I am very experienced when it comes to intervention, and helping a student reach above their target grade. I have taught Literature, as well as language; I have also taught KS3 for the last 4 years.

I believe in a personal 1 to 1 approach. Every student has strengths that can be worked with, and it is finding the strength of students that is most important to me. I choose the materials based on a child’s strengths, ability and SEN needs. I use modelling when first introducing students to a topic, and I find this has many benefits.
