About Mathews
Experience with teaching English in public schools, contracted in an outsourced manner by the company Microlins. Course at CCAA Rio Doce for 9 years, totaling 650 hours of course, from basic to advanced. In addition, I had the overseas experience studying at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, for Science without Borders, studying an intensive 3-month English course with teachers from New Zealand and the United States, as well as two semesters of the design course. I also have graphic design degree, graduated from IFPE since last year.

My classes are aimed at those who want to learn English from basic to advanced and also to those who want to reinforce what they already know and / or neutralize the interference of the Brazilian accent. The way of teaching is relaxed, and making the student to decorate is mostly avoided (although there are situations in which this is inevitable). I like to explain the origins of words, so that the translations make total sense in the student's head, and I also like to teach the student to learn, so that by watching TV series or playing video games, one can learn English alone in these moments of recreation.
