About Kristine

Hello Friend~
Thank you for reading my Bio.

I am from sunny California, born and raised in the US.

My profile as an English teacher is unique:

*I have professional training in Pronunciation and Accent Reduction.

*I specialize in Low - Intermediate (B1) to Advanced speakers

*Teaching English as a Second Language is my FULL-TIME job....It's the ONLY subject I teach.

Do you want to sound more like a native speaker?

Most Low- Intermediate (B1) to Advanced students have NEVER been taught correct pronunciation by a trained PHONICS teacher.

They are also using outdated, formal English taught from foreign textbooks.

As you probably realize, these expressions are not typically used in the real world.

I will help you form sentences and phrases that native speakers use in Business and everyday life.

I have helped business professionals prepare for:
-TV interviews
-podcasts
-radio shows
-international presentations in front of large audiences.

I hold certification from the prestigious US National Tutoring Association. I have 20+ years experience in the highly specialized field of pronunciation and accent reduction.

I taught downtown CHICAGO for a wide range of INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS clients from around the globe.

Your lessons will be individually customized based on your NATIVE LANGUAGE.

What is the most important key to learning a language? Humor and a sense of freedom to make mistakes.

Let's have FUN, LAUGH and get started!

I understand the joys and frustrations involved in learning a language. I have a degree in French, with honors, and have studied at the Sorbonne in Paris where I taught business clients and university level students.

LESSONS
*I provide FREE support material
*I provide a customized Lesson Prep document before each lesson
*I create a Lesson Follow-Up after each lesson which summarizes corrections
