About Cynthia
I am new to Superprof but not to teaching or tutoring. I have 29 years of experience as a college English professor and 10 years of experience as a writing tutor. I have taught all levels of developmental writing as well as all transfer-level writing courses, including literature and critical thinking. I have also
taught grammar and vocabulary classes. We all bring our individual learning and writing backgrounds with us, so I tailor my methods according to the needs of each student. I will teach you how to stop dreading your writing assignments and possibly even to start looking forward to them.

Would you like to show your instructors work you can be proud of? It's not that hard to do. Academic writing is a step-by-step process you can learn to handle with skill. I will show you how to take yourself from the blank page to a revised and polished final version ready to turn in. No more wandering off topic, no more grammar errors, no more writing that just fills up the page. Whether you have to write a research paper or a paragraph, your assignments will seem more manageable as you learn to think critically and to give your instructors exactly what they are looking for.
