About Yvonne
I have worked as a teacher in the USA, Mexico, and Costa Rica since 2001 in diverse contexts: elementary and secondary schools, the university, language institutes, corporate businesses, and private classes focused on English for business, academy, exam preparation, travel, and other personal purposes. Here in Mexico I have experience in several regions (Jalisco, Veracruz, Yucatan) with people of every age and socioeconomic level. I appreciate the reference letters and the support that my students and directors have gifted me over time. They inspired me to finish my Master's Degree to serve them better.

I design personalized classes according to the purposes and interests of my students. I discover the goals and learning styles of learners to create practical, dynamic and effective classes. I choose resources and activities related to real-life contexts, whether for work, school, trips abroad, or exams such as TOEFL, Cambridge, or IELTS. I plan interactive and fun classes, and I enjoy the process with a lot of patience and a great sense of humor. We work as a team so that students have more success and confidence in communications.
