About Rofiat
Hello! I'm Rofiat, a passionate English and phonics tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and African Languages. I have experience teaching learners in nursery and primary school settings, where I discovered how rewarding it is to help students develop strong language and literacy skills.
My passion for teaching comes from seeing the difference that quality education can make in a person's life. There's nothing more fulfilling than watching a learner go from struggling with reading or grammar to becoming confident in their abilities. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and teaching approach.
As someone who has studied language in depth, I understand that learning English is about more than memorizing rules. It's about developing the confidence to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively. That's why I strive to make my lessons clear, engaging, and practical, helping students understand concepts instead of simply memorizing them.
