About Alex
I will be graduating with honors from college in May. During this time, I've studied literature and writing, and I've fulfilled several internships emphasizing literary editing and writing development. I've also worked with many of my classmates over the years at every stage of the writing process, helping them refine their essays, workshop and proofread their pieces, or even brainstorm topics if they didn't know where to start. I also love literary analysis and organization, so if you hated the book and can't imagine how you're going to write five pages about it, I can help.

I have a bachelor's degree in English literature, and I am happy to let my lessons adapt to the level and need of my students. My methods for teaching also tend to be flexible, and vary on what the student wants to accomplish. For instance, if a student is having trouble working with literary terms before an exam, then I'll help them make flashcards, quiz them, and help them actively understand how literary techniques are used. If the student is struggling with the format for an essay, I would help them map out their topic and organizational structure.
