About Jill
I am a very diligent person, and am a very strong writer and speaker. I am a voracious reader and can help students with their reading and writing skills. I am in my mid-50's and looking for a fun and challenging career. By working as a substitute teacher with students from age 5 to adults, I understand the different levels of learning and direct my lessons accordingly. I would very quickly gauge an individuals level and needs and work with them to improve.

I have a Bachelors Degree in English and have taught all grade levels as well as adults. I use repetition and interactive styles of learning. A typical lesson plan would feature reviews of previous lessons, introduction of new concept or skill and a review at the end. I have been a substitute teacher for 10 years, and an adult teacher for 2 years. I have good communication skills and love to help people improve their skill in English.
