I can tutor and teach to many different kinds of literary and social studies assignments. I can assist students in reading and teach students how to create Cornell Notes, which I have modified for literary purposes, which helps accelerate student retention of information. English language arts subjects are heavily practice-based, meaning that they have to be continually practiced to be improved upon. I can tutor students through methodology, helping them to "get started" with reading and writing assignments and encourage and check progress throughout a process.
