About Svea
Hi there! My name is Svea (don't worry if you can't pronounce it yet) and I'm a 20-year-old student. I'm studying English Language and Linguistics at the University of Glasgow, where I am currently in my third year. My favourite part of my degree is the linguistics aspect and I'm hoping to go on to do a master's in Computational Linguistics.
I took A-Level German, Maths, History, and Classical Civilisations and have taken courses in German, Spanish, and English Literature at university so I have a lot of experience revising and taking exams in a variety of subjects.

My teaching method will vary from student to student. In the initial lesson, I'll aim for us to get to know each other so I can gain a feel of the needs of my student(s). Typically, each lesson will be an hour long and will build upon knowledge gained in previous lessons.
My lessons are for learners of any age, though I do specialise in GCSE English Language.
I have 80 hours of experience tutoring GCSE-level English with the National Tutoring Program on MyTutor and I have a further 30 hours of voluntary experience tutoring GCSE-level biology with the Coronavirus Tutoring Initiative, a program set up to help prevent students from falling behind during the pandemic.
