About Katie
In 2016 I managed to overcome my exam anxiety and was delighted to receive the UCL Campbell Clarke Prize for Top-ranking First year, and did so again in my final year, when I completed 6 exams on modules including Shakespeare, Modern Literature, and the Romantics to receive a high First Class honours. Drawing from this, I seek to encourage my students to build self-belief and go beyond what they thought they could achieve in their studies. In London I have tutored several students who received excellent grades at GCSE and abroad I have helped younger children who were learning English as a second language with reading, writing and speaking.

I am able to offer support in preparation of coursework, dissertations and for examinations. I create a structured academic programme for each of my students which is closely tailored to the course they are following and their specific requirements. I am highly aware of both the discipline required and stress that can be caused by academic work, and therefore aim to build a mentoring relationship to encourage and support each individual through their studies.
