About Nada
Anyway, let's stop with English for a moment. I am a student of Political Science and International Relations at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in my third and final year. In September, I'm going to do another law degree in London, because I've always wanted to be a lawyer. I studied at St Julian's School in Lisbon, but before that, I was living in Jordan, Dubai, Libya, and England. I'm originally from Libya, but a lot of things happened, notably the Civil Wars in 2011 and 2014, so I had to leave, and come to Portugal. Learning Portuguese was a big challenge for me, and it took me almost three years to reach the level I already have with the language. But I was always a person who liked languages, as I already speak Arabic, English and French.
I fully empathize with the common fear of learning a new language, not being able to understand the people around you, and feeling left out. But the good news is that English is much easier to learn than Portuguese! So let's go! You got this!
