About Clara
I'm Clara, an English and French teacher with more than 20 years of experience teaching classes. I love my job because each class is unique. I am fortunate to be able to work with a great variety of students of different levels, from groups to individual classes, from 1-year-olds in daycare centers to 94-year-old in one of my adult groups. I enjoy teaching, it's my job and my passion. I think the most important thing to learn a language is to have fun, relax, play, talk and interact with the language and that is how my classes are, totally adapted to each person and its needs.

Each class is unique and different, so are the students. Unless it is a requirement by the company, group or student, I do not follow any book as this allows total freedom to adapt the classes to the needs of each student. We use photocopies to work on grammar parts and games for oral activities to practice speech. Material that I am preparing weekly according to my student's needs. The structure of a normal class (one hour) would consist of a half hour, which is usually the first one, to work the written part or grammatical problems, and the other half to apply that grammar orally, using games and various activities provided in the most spontaneous, fun or relaxed possible way.
