About Kiera
I graduated from Legacy High School in 2025, obtaining A's in all math classes and a 5 on the AP Statistics Exam. At Legacy, I engaged in extracurriculars such as Math Club and Women in STEM Club. I am currently enrolled at Front Range Community College where I am pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am highly passionate about math and hope to instill this passion in others because there's nothing more rewarding than a difficult concept finally clicking.

Many students fight their way through math class by blindly accepting rules and replicating example problems without understanding why. As soon as they see a problem they've never encountered before, they lose all footing. My goal is to bridge this gap and to eliminate the fears that are often brought about by the addition of words to a subject of numbers.
I focus on an exploratory approach where students work their way up to new concepts by building on and applying their current knowledge. This guided process instills long-term understanding and builds the confidence required to conquer unfamiliar problems.
I teach all levels of math up to and including AP Trig/Precalc and AP Statistics.
