About John Rey
My name is John Rey, and I bring a strong academic background and a deep passion for teaching mathematics. Throughout my university years, I consistently ranked within the top 1% of my batch, a result of discipline, curiosity, and a genuine love for problem‑solving. I was honored to be recognized as one of the Ten Outstanding Students in our country, a distinction awarded to individuals who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, and community impact.
I have also represented my school and region in numerous mathematics, physics, and engineering competitions, earning awards at both regional and national levels. These experiences strengthened not only my technical skills but also my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and confidently.
Beyond academics, I have served as a peer mentor and student leader, helping classmates and younger students improve their understanding of math and related subjects. These roles taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of adapting my teaching style to each learner’s needs.

My Teaching Approach – by John Rey
I teach mathematics using a clear, structured, and student‑focused approach designed to make complex ideas feel simple and manageable. My goal is to help every learner build confidence, strengthen fundamentals, and develop real problem‑solving skills—not just memorize formulas.
Teaching Methodology
