About RAGINI

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT), Mumbai, where I graduated with a 9.39 GPA — consistently among the top students in my batch with strong performance across mathematics, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, and data structures. I subsequently completed my MBA from the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, one of India's premier business schools, where quantitative methods and analytical thinking were central to the curriculum. Professionally I have spent four years working in supply chain consulting and operations across PwC India, Flipkart, and CMS Infosystems, applying advanced mathematics daily in optimization modeling, data analysis, and Python-based programming. My teaching experience includes working as a Teaching Assistant for Data Structures during my engineering studies, volunteering as a mathematics teacher with Abhyudaya NGO to help underprivileged school students build foundational skills and perform better in board exams, and tutoring school students through the Cuemath platform. I bring the same rigor and structured thinking from my professional and academic background into every tutoring session-students and parents can expect well-prepared lessons, honest feedback, clear communication, and genuine commitment to improvement. About the lesson

I teach math with a concept-first approach before any formula or technique, I make sure the student understands the why behind it. This builds genuine problem-solving ability rather than dependence on memorization, which means students can handle unseen problems independently rather than just replicate what they have seen before.

A typical session starts with a quick check of where the student currently stands on the topic — I never assume. From there I explain the concept using simple language and real-world examples, work through problems together step by step, and then gradually hand over the problem-solving to the student with guided support until they are confident doing it independently. I track progress across sessions and revisit weak areas before moving forward.

My classes are suitable for school students from Class 6 through Class 12 covering CBSE, ICSE, and state board curricula, as well as students preparing for competitive exams like JEE foundation, SAT math, and college entrance tests. I also work with international students at equivalent levels.

What makes my teaching different is my background — I am a Computer Engineer with a 9.39 GPA and an MBA from MDI Gurgaon, and I apply mathematics professionally in optimization modeling and data analysis every day. This means I can show students exactly how algebra, calculus, statistics, and geometry connect to real careers in technology, business, and engineering — something that significantly increases motivation for students who wonder when they will ever use this.
