Emma is a patient and engaging individual. She excels at being able to explain complex concepts in ways that are easily digestible to students. She is incredibly kind and her teaching style makes students feel empowered to face educational challenges.

I have known Emma for 18 years. She is kind, enthusiastic, and great with young people. She is devoted to her teaching practice and to improving the academic wellbeing of all her students.

Emma worked with us for a year and a half at Aljezur International School and our primary Barlavento International Primary School , both in the Algarve, and we were extremely sad to see her go back to the UK. She is an exemplary teacher and gave her students confidence in themselves and their abilities. Her subject knowledge is immense and her lessons were organised and fun. We had several students who hated Maths and now love it thanks to Emma's patience and inspiration. I would thoroughly recommend Emma and wish her well in all she does. There will always be a job for her here in Portugal if she decides to return!

My son, Maximilian, needed extra tuition to help him through his Maths GCSE. We turned to Emma, who was his maths teacher at school, to ask if she was willing to give extra hours tuition after school. She agreed, and if Max passes his GCSE maths exam, it would largely be thanks to her.
