About Helena
Hello! I have been playing the violin for 18 years and I completed the LTCL (Licentiate of Trinity College London) Violin Performance Diploma with a Distinction in 2016. I've worked as a Youth Orchestra Teaching Assistant since 2017, and have taught private violin lessons with students aged from 3 to adult. Throughout my music journey, I've been an active orchestra player for more than 10 years, where I performed in over 50 concerts around the world as a Concertmistress, Section Leader, as well as a Soloist.

Mandarin
Both in-person and online lessons are available. For in-person classes, we could have them at my place (Wellesley), or I could travel anywhere within downtown Toronto. I teach entirely based on your goals and preferences - whether you're interested in Classical, pop or jazz, and whether or not you're familiar with the violin or music theories in general. I have taught elementary school kids as well as adults in their twenties, and I can assure you that age does not matter when it comes to music making. I would make sure that our lessons are fun and enjoyable while we make consistent progress!
