About Mary
With 13 years of teaching and professional singing experience, I am dedicated to helping students from school to college discover their true vocal potential. My passion for music motivates me to create lessons that are both structured and enjoyable. Over the 13 years, I have guided students to improve breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal tone, and stage confidence.
Many of my students have successfully performed in competitions, cultural programmes, and school events, marking proud milestones in my career. My lessons include vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, rhythm practice, and expressive singing techniques. I personalise my approach for each student’s goals and learning pace, ensuring steady growth. My mission is to inspire students to develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.

My approach to teaching Singing combines structured technique with creative exploration. Flexibility enables me to adjust exercises and lesson pacing according to each student’s progress and comfort level. I focus on building strong breath control, tonal clarity, pitch stability, and vocal endurance while maintaining healthy vocal habits. Empathy helps me connect with students who may feel shy or uncertain about their voice.
Compassion guides my corrections, ensuring they are constructive and motivating. Communication is central to my lessons, as I clearly demonstrate and explain vocal mechanics such as diaphragmatic breathing, resonance alignment, articulation, and expressive phrasing.
Collaboration encourages students to share their musical preferences, set meaningful goals, and reflect on their improvement. In addition to Singing, I offer guidance in Music Theory fundamentals, Sight Singing, Ear Training, and Vocal Care to support comprehensive musical education.
