About Ijeoma
Ijeoma is a smart and intelligent young lady with a huge thirst for learning new things, ever fascinated about personal development and keeping abreast of recent information which will enhance my educational career. I have passion for teaching, music, reading and writing. I honed my educational and administrative skills from my previous work experiences. I am an ardent communicator with a holistic view on positive thinking, interpersonal skills, leadership skills etc.
As a graduate honours in English Language and Literature in education at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, I have a very strong interest in pursuing a teaching career. With my experience working at a high school level, as well as in activities outside of the traditional classroom, I have a diverse background with much to offer.
My first classroom teaching experience was during a computer class for Industrial Training students for one year. In addition, I also taught during my Teaching Practice for 6 months. During this period, I enjoyed teaching and my careful preparation of lessons allowed me to break down complicated concepts to simple examples that my young students could grasp, which was rewarding for both the students and for me.
With the knowledge and relevant experiences which exposed me to different characteristics, skills and teaching methodology, I managed students with different abilities, challenges; tailoring activities to maintain the interest of high-level students without intimidating less-skilled English language student.
I was part of a classroom monitoring team which was focused in achieving the maximum excellence in classroom activities, the progress of the pupils, appropriate record keeping etc at Corona Schools’ Trust Council.
I have good basic knowledge of computer and have also advanced my career in office administration and as a facilitator.
I am a great fit for the job because I possess not only the above qualities, but other amazing qualities of a facilitator such as: patience, professional engagement, professional practice, efficiency at work, timely delivery, good initiative, organizing a warmth atmosphere for meetings and events, mental toughness, flexibility, tolerance as well as:
• Ability to prioritise duties and have a positive attitude to work.
• Maintain consistent punctuality and smart professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work under pressure
Giving me an opportunity is all you need to see that I will be an asset to your reputable organization.
