About Arsentiy
I am a recent Graduate of BA (Hons) Philosophy from King's College London .
Helping others understand and uncover new things is something I have been passionate about since my teenage years. I have an appetite for new ideas, thoughts and arguments.
I hope to instil a thirst for knowledge in these I teach, and help them find ways to reach an understanding of their chosen topics. The core of learning is to discover your own method and way of thinking.
I specialise in A-level and AS-level Philosophy and Religious Studies, as these are my main points of interest. However, I also engage with History and English Literature for A-level and AS-level as have studied them at that level myself. I have had formal training as an actor from ALRA, National Youth Theatre and National Youth Film Academy, thus have much to share in terms of Theatre Studies, and am fluent in Russian, having had Russian-speaking grandparents, and getting an A* for it at GCSE.
I believe it very important to modify and adapt your approach to each topic and idea. You must know how to adjust yourself to the subject, as a rigid approach most often doesn't work. That is the approach I take to teaching too, making myself flexible to the needs of each individual student. I believe that one must strive to use everything at one's mental disposal to attack the presented problem; where there's a will, there will always be a way.
I will not rest until I deliver each session as a unique experience. Boredom is the death of study.
P.S: I always encourage my students to persevere in wider readings.
