Coach

In addition to his career as an athlete, Valmir Nunes is a USATF (USA Track & Field) certified coach and the founder of UltraNunes Running Coach. He developed a training method based on his experience as an elite athlete, helping runners of all levels achieve their goals, from 5Ks to ultramarathons.

About the lesson

My methodology aims to improve results by using low-intensity training for 90% of workouts, thereby preventing injuries and ensuring training continuity and performance gains. I’m Two-time 100K Ultramarathon World Champion, former world record holder, USATF-certified running coach, and endurance specialist with over 35 years of experience coaching athletes from the 5K to ultramarathons.
