Hi, I'm Emily and I’m a second year student at the University of Bristol studying Chemical Physics. I’m available for tutoring in maths from year 7 to GCSEs (included).

About Emily
I am about to start second year of university and I want to share my passion for maths and inspire students to become successful in maths. In my maths GCSE I got a grade 9 and at A-level I got an A*. I am an organised and hardworking person so I assure you that I will work my best to help tutor and on my part will always be punctual to lessons. I hope that my insight into useful skills such as problem-solving and mathematical techniques can help improve the students I teach and gain skills. I can also help with the maths that is integrated in other subjects such as physics and chemistry. I took these subjects in A-level and achieved an A in both.

Maths can be a complicated subject but I can help break down the steps of each calculation to explain and let you understand. So that you can approach harder calculations with ease. I can help with problem-solving skills which is a fundamental skill to help solve harder problems that use multiple steps. I have taken maths, physics and chemistry at A-level and am currently studying chemical physics at university. I can provide lessons between 30 minutes to an hour long. I can tutor all levels from students sitting the 11+ up until GCSE level. I hope to help everyone I tutor to understand and gain all the key skills you need for maths.
