About Shekku

In August 2013, I proudly graduated with a Master of Computer Science from Anna University, Chennai. My journey began earlier with a Bachelor of Computer Application degree in 2010. With a wealth of experience, I've cultivated over 5 years of teaching expertise and spent 6 years immersed in the world of programming. My passion lies in teaching programming from the ground up, catering to beginners and guiding them to advanced levels of proficiency. My teaching portfolio extends beyond programming; I've also tutored data science foundations, Python, and SQL, along with essential Python data science libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and more. Additionally, I delve into Excel, Power BI, project assignments, and more. The joy of sharing my knowledge and helping others succeed in the realm of computer science is truly fulfilling. Witnessing growth and achievement in my students has been immensely rewarding. Now, I'm eager to extend that same support to you. I am here with the hope that I can contribute to your success and journey in the world of computer science.

As a dedicated mentor for kids and beginners in the world of data science, I've spent the past 5 years helping young minds explore the exciting realm of data science. My goal is to make complex ideas easy to understand, regardless of your background or experience. I'm here to guide you through the basics of Python, SQL, and important data science tools like NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn, as well as Excel and Power BI.

My teaching style is all about getting hands-on. I believe that learning is most effective when you dive right in. Together, we'll solve real-world problems and work closely together to create a fun and engaging learning environment that helps you grasp concepts with confidence.

While I specialize in working with kids and beginners, I'm equally excited to help learners of all ages who are taking their first steps into the world of programming. Whether you're trying to understand Python's coding rules, exploring how to ask questions with SQL, using the power of data science libraries like NumPy and Pandas, making awesome graphs with Matplotlib and Seaborn, or mastering the art of organizing data with Excel and Power BI, I'm here to provide clear and patient guidance.

We'll learn through projects and assignments, so you can put your knowledge into action. By tackling hands-on projects and completing assignments, you'll gain practical skills that you can apply to real data science challenges. These experiences will build your confidence and expertise as you progress.

I understand that everyone learns differently, so I'm ready to adapt my teaching approach to match your unique style. Your learning journey is important, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Exploring the world of programming and data science is an exciting adventure, and I'm thrilled to be your mentor. Let's work together to unlock the magic of Python, SQL, important data science tools, Excel, Power BI, and more. We'll conquer challenges, uncover new ideas, and build your skills in the amazing world of programming and data science. Your success is my top priority!

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
The first time I used a computer was at my high school in 2000 when I was fourteen years old. Back then, I found it really interesting. I remembered that I learned how to use email, text editor, spreadsheet, and slides. Then I learned a programming language called C++ , problem solving made computers more interesting. That was a turning point in my life, So I decided to choose programming as my career.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I decided to pursue coding and completed my Masters in Computer Application. Basically to teach anyone is to enlighten them with the knowledge which you possess and aiding them to achieve their goals as the classes are designed to suit every individual's needs.
How does your work help society?
Teachers truly are the backbone of society. They are role models to education, offer guidance and dedication and give young people the power of education.Teachers have those leadership and role model qualities that help to learn, grow and model the values & traits that teachers possess.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
Anyone who can teach me something new and useful, I'm inspired by them. I don't really have a specific role model. I just believe that we have one life to live, so why not live it by knowing as much as possible through knowledge.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Apart from teaching and reading, I really enjoy cooking.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
I believe every student is special. But surely, would like to tell everyone to love your life and live in your present. Because that is all that matters.
