About Nolan
With 7+ years of tutoring experience, I have successfully taught Trumpet to High School students, College students, and adults. Throughout this journey, I have guided around 300 students toward achieving their learning goals through structured lessons, regular encouragement, and personalized support.
My teaching philosophy is based on making learning enjoyable and meaningful. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual needs. I use simple English, practical examples, and interactive activities to make every lesson clear and engaging.
Each lesson is carefully planned with step-by-step instruction, guided practice, independent exercises, and detailed feedback. I encourage students to practice regularly because steady effort leads to lasting improvement and greater confidence.
Teaching around 300 students has given me valuable experience and strengthened my passion for education. Many learners have improved academically, developed confidence, and achieved their personal goals through consistent learning.
I believe every student deserves patience, respect, and encouragement. My classroom is welcoming and supportive, helping students enjoy learning Trumpet while building skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

I believe learning the trumpet should be enjoyable from the very first lesson. My teaching methodology focuses on building strong musical foundations while encouraging creativity and self-confidence. Every lesson is adapted to suit each student's needs and learning style.
Motivation helps students enjoy regular practice and continuous improvement. I encourage learners to set realistic goals and celebrate every milestone they achieve.
Communication is a key part of my teaching. I explain every lesson in clear and simple English, demonstrate techniques carefully, and encourage active discussions during class.
Integrity guides every lesson I teach. I provide honest advice, respectful feedback, and encourage students to develop responsibility, patience, and discipline.
Creativity makes music exciting. Lessons include breathing practice, rhythm exercises, articulation training, improvisation, musical interpretation, and performance opportunities that strengthen both technical and artistic skills.
Besides trumpet, I teach music theory, rhythm reading, sight-reading, ear training, music appreciation, ensemble performance, and beginner improvisation. My aim is to help students become confident and expressive musicians.
