About Megan
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I have taught for six years in grades 2-4, but have spent most of my teaching career teaching third grade English Language Arts. I have planned and executed many successful Reading and Grammar lessons, and have prepared students for the third grade Oklahoma Reading Test, filling them with confidence to succeed.

I like for my lessons to be engaging and hands-on. I believe that students learn best when they can not only interact with lesson materials, but also to be able to explain their thinking and also be able to teach the material. A typical lesson would include an introduction to the material with examples, and plenty of opportunities for students to engage directly with the content to make the lessons more student-centered
