I emphasise clear explanations of grammar rules, especially verb conjugations, pronouns, and sentence construction, but I always anchor these in meaningful communication. Students practice speaking and listening from day one through role-plays, dialogues, and authentic audio resources, which build confidence and fluency. I integrate reading and writing exercises using culturally rich materials like short stories, news articles, and music lyrics to expand vocabulary and comprehension. Cultural understanding is key, so I introduce students to idiomatic expressions, regional variations, festivals, and social customs to make learning engaging and relevant. Technology also plays a role—interactive apps, quizzes, and video chats help reinforce concepts between lessons and keep students motivated. One rewarding experience was guiding a high school student from struggling with verb tenses to confidently delivering an oral presentation entirely in Spanish. My mission is to empower learners to use Spanish naturally and confidently in everyday life, fostering a lifelong curiosity about the language and culture.

These cultural elements not only deepen understanding but also bring joy and variety to the learning process.
