I'm Ruth Gomina, an English graduate, educator, and Early Literacy Expert dedicated to helping children become confident readers.
With a passion for early literacy and a belief that every confident reader begins with sound, I use systematic phonics instruction to build strong reading foundations. My mission is to help every child read with confidence, understand with ease, and enjoy learning for life.

My approach to tutoring is built on one simple belief: every confident reader begins with sound.
Rather than encouraging children to memorize words, I help them understand how sounds work together to form words. This strong phonics foundation enables children to read unfamiliar words independently, improving their confidence, fluency, and comprehension over time.
I create engaging, child centered learning experiences through storytelling, interactive activities, and systematic phonics instruction, ensuring every lesson builds both skill and confidence. My goal is not simply to teach children how to read but to help them become confident, lifelong readers.
